My Digital collage

Hi,

Above is my digital collage that I made using Windows PowerPoint. The websites are:

maps.google.com.sg http://www.hotmail.com/

download.live.com/messenger http://www.streetdirectory.com/

The last one is History Channel Video Digest, which I can't find the website but its on Facebook. I was unable to view it because my flash player is out-dated, it has videos about History in it, and it may be useful in learning History.
Out of all the applications mentioned, my favourite is facebook. Why?

Because, we can get to get to know know other people from around the world, play online games with friends (not to mention compete with them), keep in touch even if you are sick, and maybe get to kinow what they are doing from their status updates.

Google maps

Hi,

From my home to SST, the fastest way is by car , which takes about 5-6 mins, while if I take public transport, it will take about 16-19 mins. And if I really have to walk, it will take around 33 mins.

Google tells us how the traffic condition is like, the nearest market/food centre/shopping mall/bank/clothes stall from where you are (note that the last one, clothes stall, only applies to most well known brands and some people who advertise their business)

I think that Google Maps's infomation is quite reliable, except that on the map, I don't see a landmark in for SST.(I guess they only update the map yearly, or at least when new maps are published)

Here is my map:"

My experience in creating this blog

Hi everyone,

Creating this blog is quite interesting (as you get to choose how your blog looks like, what gadgets you want to add (such as a chat box, music player etc.)

I have created other blogs, so I'm quite used to how to create a blog and so forth....

I think that we can post blogs to let the outside world know what topics we learnt (like how experiments are some and etc.), have discussions about topics in comments (or in chat boxes, which create less hassle in seeing what friendly discussion is going on) and maybe we can also share ideas about a certain topic.

Thats what I think, till the next post..

How I felt when I received the confirmation letter to SST

Hi everyone,

When I received the letter that confirms my posting into SST, I felt like this:

(Taken from :www.40milesnorth.com/wordpress/store)

Why? Because I thought that since some papers were tough (example: the Maths paper), I would never get 200 and above (and get into SST). But when I received my results, I got all As (except for an A* in Maths) and realized that I got more than what I needed to get into SST! Thats why I was completely overjoyed!
